Quality Documentation
With quality standards constantly reaching higher goals, a proper package of documents is a must. Macau’s fast pace construction requires a comprehensive and complete set of Specifications, Installation Methods and Quality Hold Points clearly identified. We provide preparation of documents such as Method Statements and Inspection and Testing Plans, as well as assist in reviewing such documents or detailed construction drawings, on a consultant / client perspective.
On-site Inspections and Defect Punching
Documentation by itself sets guidelines and agrees methods, however an On-site Supervision (Inspections) has been proven highly efficient to control and record anomalies. Our team’s know-how provides an extensive understanding of construction methods and construction drawing comprehension, with the ability to contribute with solutions based on site constraints. Detailed inspection reports are provided to record all non-conformance items.
Defect Punch (snagging) is provided by Beyond during project completion and prior to the handover. Aiming to record all irregularities and design deviations, we elaborate reports with clear photographic record and location through the use of relevant equipment and punching software.
As different projects require different needs, Beyond is capable of assembling RSS teams for long term projects or provide staff on an hourly basis.
Off-shore Inspections
Tight programmes do not allow much room for off-shore items late delivery to site, so defects and misreading of fabrication drawings must not be allowed. Buy-offs, Factory Production Monitoring and Pre-lay Inspections are provided by our team in order to avoid such construction delays and ensure quality of the workmanship.
Passive Fire System Inspections
Beyond understands the importance of a passive fire system in the prevention of a disaster that may put lives at risk.
With our experience in identifying and inspecting Fire-stop material on local projects (including destructive tests whenever required), we are capable of ensuring a proper safe condition, allied to the active fire system and Means of Egress, following the local standards and codes.
